Blue Flame Restaurant in Clairton

Thanks to everyone who had a part of this very important 80th suprise party for my mom ! Food was extremely good and reasonable ! A huge thanks to Greg for being patient with my girlfriend preparing this ! Word of mouth is everything ! So on that note my girlfriend knows lots of people !! Thanks again !

Food is always fresh, quick, and tasty. To offer fresh fruit and vegetables is wonderful... and not always accomplished elsewhere.

We goto eat here before golfing: Blue Flame Special is unbeatable.

Waitress told me this place has been around since the 50s. Looks like it hasn't been updated since the sixties. Very shabby, desperately in need of some attention. Smells like it looks. I had the $5 omelette special. It was fine, certainly a good value. My waitress was very attentive. Nevertheless, I cannot understand how a reviewer could give this place 5 stars. How many stars would they give at truly good restaurant???

Mom and I stopped here on a whim today..not our first time here..but after an appointment at the hospital up the road for both of us..it was close and convenient. Not only was the food delicious..it came quickly, which means so much when you have a cranky 1yr old and 4 yr old. I have had many good meals here...but today was exceptionally enjoyable...why?The highlight of the meal...the young lady who waited on us. She was attentive to not just the children's need to eat and be entertained..she was so kind to my mother who is in the easily stages of demtia. I pray this doesn't get her into trouble....but she then did not charge me for the meal. On a day that was testing my patients...this 👼 lightened my load if even for an hour. Class act Blue Flame..

The food is regularly well prepared and delightful, employees provides fantastic customer service. I really like how clean it is and vibes. Will visit here again.

Been stopping here for 50 years. Great choices for breakfast and lunch. Good food, great service. I've always been greeted with a smile and a good cup of hot coffee. Ample parking and easy access.

I had never been to this restaurant before. My experience was excellent. Great waitresses. Very helpful when ordering our meals. Will return there when the chance arrives

I love this place. We doordash it and my whole family loves it❤ we rate five stars because there is more to it than if i like the decor of a restaurant. I consider prices,quality, quantity, options for delivery,customer service and how much my family likes it.

Local restaurant. It’s an older restaurant. Serves breakfast all day. Building is dated and food was decent. My omelette was delicious. Hubby’s philly sandwich was decent. Service was excellent.

The Mystery Dinners are awesome

Good place to stop for a quick bite. Nothing real fancy but all good stuff. The food at the buffet style Mystery Dinner I thought was very good and the service was really really good too! Def worth stopping here. Noise level is low to moderate. Staff is very friendly and helpful

Quick easy Sunday morning breakfast buffet. Stress free. Delicious food. Young man working was very helpful. Loved it.

Was here for an industry event. While service was good, the decor is very dated and shabby, food was not good at all. We were served buffet for our group, which is fine, but everything was over cooked, over salted, and their famous donut balls were so greasy they squirted when you bit into them. I hardly ate anything and a few of my colleagues were feeling ill by the end of the night.

Ate breakfast at the Blue Flame on Fathers Day. I hadn't been there in about 20 years. Awesome breakfast! Couldn't believe the amount of bacon they put on the platter. Nobody has ever said "That's too much bacon"! Delicious! Great service too. Will be back soon!

Been boycotting them for 22 years, used to spend $200 a month their /owner has attitude issues, waitresses nice though.

Good diner food. Always nice employees that work there. We love the blueberry pancakes! There is a breakfast buffet as well. We go there as often as we can.

Amazing food and friendly staff

I had a catered buffet here. The fried chicken was excellent as were the cooked vegetables. I didn't get a chance to look at the menu much, but this place has been here forever (my grandparents would take my mother when she was a kid), and it seems like a pretty classic diner.

This restaurant is in terrible need of an update. Interior was dusty and dirty with spiderwebs in every corner, and it looked like it hadn’t been remodeled since the 1960’s. The owner was extremely unpleasant when I met her, as she neglected to greet me and my family upon entrance. Establishment also seemed very understaffed. My food was close to cold when I received it as well, and most of my family’s dishes had some type of wet food spot or stain on it—not properly cleaned and sanitized. Extremely negative experience. We will not be returning any time soon.

I have worked about a mile down the road from this restaurant for 7 yrs. I have never had a bad meal. The Bacon is crisp but not burnt. The Sausage links have a good snap the eggs are always prepared as desired and the homefries are awesome. The only thing I miss is they used to deliver breakfasts now I have to stop in and pick up but trust me I do! :)

Average prices, decent service but my home fries were mostly burnt and my toast was buttered when I ordered it dry. When I told the cashier my situation she made it right, so no problems with the management at all. Been eating there for many years and this was the only issue I've had. Will continue to eat here.

Locally owned and operated by a very friendly family who lives in the same neighborhood. Breakfast buffet is so good. Food quality is excellent.. Service is awesome

Average for a breakfast spot. Service is friendly. A bit pricey (over $11) for an omelette. It seems reasonable at first until you notice that they charge $.70 for every single item you put in your omelette! Adds up quickly equal not a very good deal.

Food was ok, waitress seemed aggravated about something. First time eating there, probably won't go back. Need bigger portions.

Would have been a 5, but the menu didn't list the Philly cheese steak as having tomatoes and lettuce. Of it had, I would have requested none, like I did with the peppers. It still was a good meal, but had to spend extra time scraping the veggies from it. My son thoroughly enjoyed his ham and cheese sandwich. With these times, I prefer to support local restaurants, seeing as the chains will obviously survive. Please, keep local businesses in mind, and tip well. They lost a lot of income recently
